Student of the Month Assemblies

Every month, teachers will honor one or two students for making and/or maintaining good academic progress,
as well as maintaining and/or improving their classroom behavior.

Parents, family members, and friends are welcome to join us on the playground.
The ceremony usually lasts about 30-40 minutes.

Students will receive certificates with a short paragraph written by their teachers, which typically describes the reasons why they were selected to represent their classrooms, another certificate from one of our local businesses, such as Yogurtland, Elephant Bar, and a bumper sticker that says your child was honored as student of the month for Walt Disney Elementary.

If your child qualifies for any of these awards, you will receive an invitation at home a few days prior to the assembly.
